Chris began working with clay in his mid-thirties when he became Edmund de Waal’s first apprentice. Since 1998 Chris has worked from his own studio in South London, which he shares with the potter Carina Ciscato. Repetition has always been central to his work. All the pots will do a job if you want them to.
